As she enjoys a month-long break from This Morning, Alison Hammond has lashed out at trolls who have targeted her on social media. The 49-year-old took to X, formerly known as Twitter, on Monday to respond to the haters who sent her nasty messages. One nasty troll wrote: "I imagine Alison Hammond is a real nasty piece of work now, started to believe her own hype." Not taking the comment lying down, the ITV star lashed out at them and expressed: "Why is that I'll be having a lovely day and then someone who doesn't know from Adam writes such nasty message. "Don't me, keep your nasty comments to yourself bekind always." A second mean troll said: "No talent but gets loads of work because she ticks the right boxes." Determined to get the last laugh, Alison snapped back: "The only box I'm ticking today is block Yash." The Great British Bake Off host's followers rushed to the comments section to defend her and hit back at the trolls. One person said: "Surely they tagged the wrong account because absolutely no one thinks that!!! You just spread joy." Another X user penned: "People who use their spare time to be hateful are clearly lacking happiness and enjoyment in their lives."
